Today I’m going to list my top ten flights that I avoid (if I can) while working. Every flight attendant has them. There are many of us that share some of the same ones. Please note, this is my own personal opinion. If you love these flights or places- more power to you! I’m personally just not a fan, for one reason or another. Without further ado, let’s get right into it!

1. JFK/LGA, New York- I think this is self explanatory for me. These flights are in my nightmares, hence it’s number one. I’m not a NY fan and if I can avoid it, I do.
2. MSP, Minnesota- No shade to my OG base, but I hate the cold. While the people are friendly, this flight makes me think of snow and that’s just a big old no from me.
3. CDG, Paris, France- I don’t like Paris and the flights for me, personally, we’re pleasant.
4. CLE, Ohio- CLEVELAND SUCKS! Love, a 513 native. Also, I’m not a fan of Cleveland in general, aside from the fact the hatred for Cleveland was born within my Cincinnati blood.
5. Turks & Caicos- Now, before you come for me, I LOVE Turks & Caicos. What I don’t love is having to turn right around and watch everyone else go on vacation. Yes, I’m bitter, that’s all.
6. Lagos, Nigeria- There is only one reason this flight is on here because I absolutely loved Lagos and the passengers are so incredibly sweet. It’s so darn long. Working long flights is exhausting and after 11 hours on a plane, ya girl wants to go to bed.
7. LAX, California- Take a wild guess and I’m sure you’ll land on one of the many reasons why I’m not a fan.
8. DAL, Texas- I like Dallas, don’t get me wrong. But, I swear every time I fly into Dallas Love Field I’m delayed and there is nothing I dislike more than delays.
9. OKC, Oklahoma- This flight isn’t bad, just kind of forgettable. No tea, no shade OKC.
10. Lastly, Florida- Pick a place and chances are, I probably hate doing the flight. Probably because I can never stay long enough to go to the beach and I hate the smell of tomato juice.

That’s it! Those are my top ten flights I avoid while working. I know some of the reasons are silly, but everyone has their preference as a flight attendant.
