Hey y’all! Welcome back and happy hump day!
Today’s post is all about my most disliked layovers. I can assure you there will be some unpopular opinions in this but, these are my own personal worst layovers. I will explain why I dislike each one. Please be kind. I know not everyone will agree with me and that’s okay! Without further ado, let’s get right into it!
- Jackson, MS- I know it’s not all bad, but I’m just not a fan of Jackson. There wasn’t much to do there and food was about the same as every other smaller, southern town. I don’t think Jackson is a terrible town, it’s just not as exciting to me.
- Paris, France- The sound in my head for even typing this is a very loud BOOOOOO. I’m sorry to those people who love Paris, it’s not for me. While I love history, good food, and wine, Paris just didn’t do it for me. I’m not sure if it was the impression I got, but I truly didn’t like it. Everyone is telling me to give it another go, but i’m not so sure I’d even like it then. Who knows? Maybe i’ll try it again. Until then, no thanks.
- New York, New York- I don’t even have words, but if I had to choose, I’d choose burnt out. I grew up going to New York and even lived there. But, when it comes to layovers- this is not one I need. I’m good. Y’all can have it! I love how diverse it is though.
- Panama City, Florida- I lived in Jupiter (Hi Tyler from the Bachelorette). PCB just ain’t it for me. Sorry. No regrets. I prefer the other coast!
- OKC, Oklahoma- I could copy and paste exactly what I said about Jackson. It’s small, not much to do (it forces me to go to the gym, YUCK!), and the food is okay.
- Lastly, Grand Rapids- Michigan- While Grand Rapids is a cute town and the people are so sweet, it just lacked any excitement I need on a layover. Maybe because we were closer to the airport, but I’d like to see if the closer to the city I feel that same.
That’s it! Well, so far at least. I’m sorry if you’re from any of these cities or if you like them. They aren’t in my personal taste. If they are your favorite, let me know why in the comments below! What things do you think I could do that would change my mind? What are the worst places you’ve visited? Let me know! Until next time..
Safe Flights & Happy Reading Nights!
